Fireproof Natural Insulation – cellulose-based insulation
If Europe is to achieve its target of reducing emissions and energy
consumption by at least 20% by 2020, it must address the issue of the
sustainability of current construction methods, in order to set up a
sector of the Greener construction. Natural cellulose-based insulation
is a good example. Untreated cellulose-based insulating products are
flammable, which makes them much more closed in terms of fire safety!
Treating them with the type of suitable flame retardant formula helps to
overcome this disadvantage, and to compete with other insulating
materials (such as mineral-based insulating products).
EcoChem is an important challenger in the development, production and marketing of flame retardant additives with or without boron for all types of applications in natural and cellulose-based thermal insulation: Insulation Wood fibres, recycled paper fibres, flax fibres, etc. Our environmentally friendly fireproof products are added in solid or liquid form. We sell products intended for fireproofing natural insulating materials complying with all European and international standards for life-size production tests.
